In our culture, we are lacking information regarding sexual abuse. This means young people aren’t learning about non-consensual sexual behavior, how it happens, actions they should take and what to expect when recovering. I’ve designed a workshop that will allow for an easier way for mentors and educational staff to teach these important lessons. I believe students need knowledge regarding sexual crimes to carry into their adult life. Twitter campaigns and Facebook support groups are not where our efforts should the end for our youth!
