David Mackenzie is a musician from Atlantic Canada. He writes stories and makes you feel like a part of his songs. David wrote this song 2 years ago but released it during a west coast trip this summer. The song encourages listeners to think about what home means to them. When I created the visuals for this song I wanted the photography to create the feeling of not being home. Illustrating the feeling of searching and wandering until home is found, but not in a literal way. I used the colour of the canola flower in the field we shot our photos and softened all of the design features to reinforce the theme of uncertainty.
