About Kate
Kate is a graphic designer with eight years of experience spanning branding studios, advertising agencies, and four years running her own independent design business. Throughout her career, she's worked across both digital and print, developing thoughtful, strategic design solutions that translate business stories into creative, clear, and effective visual communication.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic and Digital Design and comes from a background in visual arts, which continues to shape how she approaches her work. Growing up in British Columbia, she's always drawn inspiration from nature — its balance, contrast, texture, and restraint. She's also deeply inspired by previous decades and traditional materials, influences that subtly shape her use of space, colour selection, and composition. The result is a design style that pairs unique, character-driven choices with clean, refined digital execution.

Over the past six years, she's worked with tourism and non-profit organizations, helping communicate place-based stories and mission-driven work with clarity and impact. She also has broad experience supporting local small businesses — guiding projects from early ideation and brand identity development through to final print and digital applications. In the CPG space, she's designed Amazon listings and developed ad creative for Meta platforms, balancing performance-driven thinking with strong visual storytelling.

She cares deeply not only about the final product, but about the process of getting there. Transparency, collaboration, and clear communication are central to how she works. She believes the best design outcomes come from strong partnerships, thoughtful strategy, and attention to detail at every stage. She's proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and builds websites using WIX Studio, allowing her to carry projects seamlessly from concept to launch.
