The City of Abbotsford Visitor Guide was created to showcase the region’s diverse blend of outdoor adventure, local culture, agriculture, and vibrant community experiences. Working closely with the Tourism Abbotsford team, the goal was to design a guide that felt both informative and inviting—encouraging visitors to explore the city through the perspective of a local.

Building on Abbotsford’s existing brand identity, I designed a clean, contemporary publication that combined minimal layouts with hand-drawn illustrations and handwritten annotations, creating the feeling of a well-loved guidebook filled with personal recommendations. The result is an engaging, easy-to-navigate piece that balances personality with clarity, while remaining highly functional for visitors. I also designed a custom illustrated map to provide geographic context and help orient travellers within the surrounding region.
