Tourism Abbotsford, a key advocate for outdoor stewardship in Abbotsford, is committed to preserving the natural beauty of its well-loved hiking trails. With increasing foot traffic in these areas, the need to educate visitors on responsible trail use has become more important than ever.

To support this initiative, a Trail Responsibility Poster was developed - a visually engaging awareness piece designed for placement throughout popular hiking locations. The approach focused on creating a series of custom illustrations highlighting commonly discarded items found along trails, paired with clear information about their decomposition timelines. The goal was to communicate the environmental impact of littering in a way that felt approachable and informative, rather than overly authoritative or guilt-driven, encouraging hikers to take greater responsibility for the spaces they enjoy.
