The Sumas & Abbotsford Hiking Guide was designed to help visitors discover the region’s network of trails through a clear, engaging, and easy-to-use printed resource. Created in collaboration with the Tourism Abbotsford team, the multi-panel folded brochure highlights hiking opportunities throughout the Sumas and Abbotsford area while encouraging visitors to explore the region’s natural landscapes.

Working within Tourism Abbotsford’s existing brand identity, I designed a custom brochure featuring original map artwork, trail illustrations, and iconography. Every trail route and point of interest was carefully reviewed with the client to ensure accuracy, while the layout balances expressive design with practical functionality. Trail legends, elevation profiles, distance information, and key amenities were thoughtfully organized to help visitors quickly understand each route. The finished piece combines a refined, professional aesthetic with a soft, nature-inspired visual language that reflects the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the client to develop the creative direction, verify mapping details, and manage project timelines and milestones to ensure a smooth design process from concept through production.
